There are a couple of upcoming road closures in the Bristol City Centre area which may affect your journey to us. Please plan your route carefully and expect delays. We would advise using public transport where possible including Park and Ride facilities to minimise traffic on the roads during these times.
Planned Protests – Saturday 4th June 2016

Bristol Triathlon – Sunday 5th June 2016
The Portway (A4) in Bristol will be closed for the Bristol Triathlon.
M32 MetroBus works – Friday 10th June 2016 – Sunday 12th June 2016

Essential maintenance will be taken out on the M32 motorway over the weekend to allow a bridge to be built across the motorway for the MetroBus.
Traffic will be advised of the closures prior to junctions 18 and 16 of the M5. On the M4 traffic will be advised to come off at the junction 18 to access south and east Bristol.
Closure programme
The temporary closures are taking place over the weekend when traffic levels are lower.
To minimise closures of the M32 and the associated impact, the work has been split into four shifts:
Fri 10 June 8pm to Sat 11 June 8am
Full closure between Junction 1 and 3 in both directions
Sat 11 June 8am to 8pm
Full closure between Junction 1 and 2 in both directions and traffic management between Junction 2 and 3
Sat 11 June 8pm to Sun 12 June 6am
Full closure between Junction 1 and 3 in both directions
Sun 12 June 6am to 6pm
M32 and all junctions open
Sun 12 June 6pm to Mon 13 June 6am
Full closure between Junction 2 and 3 in both directions
Skyride – Sunday 19th June 2016
The annual Skyride cycling event will be returning to Bristol this year with road closures in effect until 6pm. Lane restrictions will be in place along Anchor Road and there will be access to car parks only.
