The Bristol Aquarium is one of the best family day outs in the city. Situated in the centre of Bristol, this aquatic paradise is home to an array of sea creatures that will keep you intrigued and entertained all day long. From tropical sharks, puffer fish and the scary piranhas to sea horses and rays to name a few. The Underwater tunnel is the place to be to watch the wonders of the ocean swim above you.

This is place to come and gain a real understanding of the ocean and the native species in it. The kids will learn a lot here. Bristol Aquarium have a mixture of native fish to the UK while also being home to a variety of tropical fish from all over the world. This way visitors can gain a real understanding of what’s in our waters and further afield.
Added to the wonders of the ocean, there’s the popular Urban Jungle. This is the only aquarium in the UK to be home to a large walk in botanical house. Exotic plants and trees are plentiful here.

Explore and learn at Bristol Aquarium
This is great for the kids. There are talks and feeds every day at the attraction. From talks on the Coral Reef to feedings with sharks. It’s as diverse as it is fun.
• 11:30am – Daily – CORAL REEF
• 1pm – Daily – BAY OF RAYS
• 2:30pm – Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun – SEAHORSES
• 2:30pm – Tues, Thurs, Sat – AMAZON
• 4:00pm – Mon, Wed, Fri – NATIVE
• 4:00pm – Tues, Thurs, Sat, Sun – SHARKS

After a day exploring the amazing animals at Bristol Aquarium where better to finish off than at the C-shed café? From a variety of hot offerings such as toasties and baguettes to fresh wraps, there is something for everyone. We suggest the amazing Lavazza coffee – a favourite of ours.
